Blessings to Our House of Hope, Thank you for all that you do for so many of us who ADORE our furry adoptees!! How thankful
we are for the joy that "Skipper" has given us. He is an absolute delight as he always begins and ends each
new day with a few good licks and a wagging tail. Keep up the GREAT work. Ron and Dorothy J. - Libertyville, Il.
Dear Lisa and team, Thank you for the selfless serving you give to so many needy dogs. The love, care and
attention that you provide is priceless! Kim

Hi Lisa, We wish everyone that adopts an animal , realize that it is not what we give them as rescues but,
about opening our hearts and accepting what they have to offer us. Our pets here have taught us as much as our child
along with giving us warmth and understanding. Phoebe will be our holiday gift to each other and so much better than jewelry
or an iPad.
Sharon and Tom O' - Chicago, Il.
Hello Lisa, This is Chrissie from Manor Care in Northbrook, Il. Thank you SO much for your visit today to our nursing home. You and your pet therapy
unit, truly brought a smile that is lasting all day..... a gift that means the most. I can't thank you enough for bringing
the animals and the joy and lightheartedness that they brought to our facility.....as I said, it's been priceless. Moreover,
the pictures that you sent following your visit, nearly brought tears to my eyes. I cannot even imagine the emotion that they
will elicit from family members as these reactions are far from typical of some of the residents. I hope that when you go to bed every night, you know that you have made such a positive
difference in so many lives. It's incredible. You
guys are angels and your dogs are angels with tails! Chrissie Sileika, CTRS Director
of Recreational Therapy Manor

Lisa, We stand behind your vision and mission to help these dogs find the best of forever and loving
homes. Keep up the great work in all areas of the rescue. You are all about the dogs and so much more. We admire your stamina
and drive to go beyond the challenges of the rescue world and into the care and support of our local communities. Thank you
for including our family in this journey as it is only a small part of what you give every day, all year long. You're
amazing! John and Bon R.

Lisa, Thank you for the pictures and the e-mail. Your words mean the world to us!! We knew that we loved
Lily from the moment that we had met her ----- but to have someone like yourself see the love that we give our little girl
so unconditionally, well it makes me swell with pride and brings tears of joy to my eyes. I am so glad that GOD brought
Lily to you and your rescue. I cannot bear to think of the consequences had she ended up somewhere else! This little
girl deserved every chance that you and Our House of Hope gave her!! GOD bless your undying devotion to Lily and every dog
that passes through the rescue. Pat,
Bobby, Molly and Lily - Chicago,Il.
Lisa, I saw Lily / Bitty yesterday! I am blessed to have witnessed what a living miracle she is. I
don't believe that her being in your / Bonnie's care at the moment when she had her stroke, was an accident. You have a sixth
sense and you know how to use it !! Congrats once again.
Elaine O'D - Vernon Hills, Il.
Dear Lisa, It will soon be a year since our adoption of Mario / Max. He is the greatest little
fellow! What a personality. He still loves his squeaky toys and of which, only the strong survive. We still cannot believe
that anyone would give up on an animal or for any reason. He is a treasured member of our family. He shows his love daily.
May GOD continue to bless you, your family and all of those who support your efforts. We thank you and Max does too!
Keith and Cheryl B. - Rockford, Il.
Lisa, Mike and Family, Thank you for all that you have done to sacrifice your very lives to enrich the lives
of our furbabies and the ones that love them. Words cannot express our gratitude for our Pepper the dancing dog, the friendship
of your precious family and the HOPE that you bring us all in a world that often forgets how precious life is. May God bless
us all with many more years of your vision, wisdom, stewardship and love. Dave and Dawn - Milliken, Colorado
Lisa, It has been just about
one year since we adopted Daisy. We love her so much that life will never be the same without her. When we adopted her, we
had just lost our 3 yr old Shih Tzu several months prior. We thought that we would never get over that loss. Daisy has shown
us that we can in fact move on and love yet another dog as much. You were absolutely right about her fitting in with
us. All of our dogs mean everything to us, but Daisy is just that special dog that we will never be able to replace. Lisa, thank you again for entrusting this angel of a Daisy to us and I hope that you
have never regretted it. I know that we have never regretted taking her into our lives. You and everyone at Our House of Hope are the best and we are so proud to be involved with all of
you. Virginia and Bob - Gurnee,
Illinois
Lisa, Thank you so much for being so available and willing to talk with us about "Steve" and
everything "Dog". I don't think that we would have ever adopted if it weren't for you guys. I am so glad that we
found you and "Steve". We will be sure to pass along your info to others that we know that are looking for a pet.
You have made the process so easy and we are thankful to have found such a wonderful dog in "Steve". We are blessed
to have him. He truly is a great dog!
Debbie - Woodridge, Il.
Dear Lisa, I am so grateful that I have had the opportunity to do what I love most in life. I've
been able to broaden my love for dogs by getting involved with you and your rescue. You do great things in great ways. You
will never know what that means to most of us who always wished that there was a better rescue out there. You have it my friend! Cathy R. - Waukegan, Il.
Dear Lisa and Our House of Hope, I cannot even begin to tell you what all of your dog and
cat food treats means to us. You just made our holiday much much better. I got teary eyed when I saw everything that you brought
for us. You are a true blessing. We really have appreciated all that you have done for us during this time. Thank you again. Stacy G. - Gurnee, Illinois

THE RIVERSIDE FOUNDATION HOLIDAY CARD
Our House of Hope, I want to thank you and your entire organization for the food that you have provided
for my cats and my dog. We are low income and are
able to visit the food pantry twice a month at St. Joseph's in Libertyville. I was extremely happy to now find cat and dog
food. It has been very useful and has helped provide for our needs. We have also appreciated the kitty litter on several occasions. Thank you again for assisting our family with provisions for the animals that we love
so much.
Cathy and Robin I. - Mundelein, Il.
8/18/09 Dear Lisa, Just
a note to let you know that it has been a month since Graci [Autumn] entered our hearts and our home. She has been a joy since
day one. Loving and loyal describe her best. Each day brings a new adventure - especially outdoors. She has been chipmunk
possesed. What fun to watch her! We may have rescued Graci but, she has saved and filled our hearts with joy. We are forever
grateful to you and "Our House of Hope" for all of your kindness.
Steph K. - McHenry,Il.

you so much for supplying food for my 3 cats at the St. Joseph's Food Shelter in Libertyville. I appreciate the cat litter

for your kindness and may GOD bless you and yours.

3/23/09 Dear Lisa: Because I am retiring as Supervisor on May 15th, I especially want to thank you for
your time and effort in volunteering for our Township Food Pantry. During my administration we have worked hard to make the
food pantry an efficient and pleasant experience for our recipients. Our Social Worker, Linda and her staff have provided a compassionate and organized procedure that effectively
addresses the need. You have been an indispensable part of this service to our neighbors. My warmest thanks and good wishes to you. Perhaps, I will join your team. Betty Ann Moore

Hi, I just wanted to let you know how appreciative our family is of your donations to the Libertyville Food Pantry
that occurs once a month at the United Presbyterian Church. I have been able to get cat food for the last several months and
it has really helped our family out. With a new baby to feed, it is nice that there are entities like you out there to help
keep our other "baby" happy too. Thank you again. Anonymous out of respect for privacy - Libertyville
3/16/09 Dear Our House of Hope, Your "Old Mother Hubbard Project" has a double value for those in need. First,
it gives our guests more food for themselves and keeps them less stressed about their animals and second, it keeps these animals
from being abandoned to whatever fate that comes to them. God bless for this ministry. Jim

1/21/09 The following is being sent in great
appreciation for the cat food that I received earlier this week at St. Joseph's Church Formation Center in Libertyville.
Thank you so much for all of your kind and wonderful efforts. Lina H.- Lake County, Il.
Dear our House of Hope, I was recently at a church in Libertyville that helps people who are having trouble
by giving them food. I was surprised to be able to receive a bag of dog food as well. I wanted to write to thank the people
that donated the pet food. It has helped so much. I normally would not have a problem supporting my animal, but my baby has
some medical issues that has brought many unexpected bills. My dog is a part of our family and needs to be taken care of as
long as he lives and I have always tried to take care of him as I would want to be taken care of.. Thanks to you, he has now been
able to get two new toys since we have not been able to get any in the last couple of months due to our sitiuation. I
just wanted to write and say THANK YOU !!!!! 1/13/09
Kristen R.- Zion, Il.

and care that you bestow on the dogs that are lucky enough to find their way to you. Thank you for all that you do and for
who you are. Susan H. - Gurnee, Il.
Dear Lisa, Just so you know, we love Tashi and he returns our affections, always being sure
that each of us gets an equal share. He is wonderfully outgoing with the children and the neighbors both human and Canine
and yet, he still has his quiet times where he sits in the sun and watched the brids at the feeder. And, of course, we all
must toss and chase Mr. Turtle that you gave him, several times a day. Thank you again, Lisa, for bringing us together.
Catharine and Dan C. - Evanston, Il.
Lisa, Thank you so much for letting me be a part of your event! You make everything so
easy for those of us that want to help you. You will never know how much you inspire me to keep pursuing the things that I
love. It is so great that those of us in rescue can work together for a common goal. Cindy

Hi Lisa, I just want to give credit where credit is due. You are the reason that we've
all come together for this wonderful mission. You are the force behind it all. You have brought out this passion
in all of us. You are an incredibly giving person and that goes far beyond saving the dogs. I am so proud of this organization that I cannot wait to see what our future holds.
I know that we will do great things with the people that we have surrounding us. Each and every one play such an important
role. Thanks again, Lisa - You're the best! Bonnie
