Please support those in our community that have stepped up to aid us in our animal rescue efforts. We could not do what we do without them.

Thank you to Dr. Laura Brown, DVM of Green Tree Animal Hospital in Libertyville for your quick response and expert preliminary diagnosis following Lily's stroke. Also, thank you for making all of the arrangements in getting us in right away to the Neurologist in Northbrook. You and your staff are the backbone of this rescue and we HOPE that you know that? Dr. Michael Podell -Neurologist/ Neurosurgeon at Animal Emergency and Referral Center in Northbrook watched over Lily for 3 days while confirming the diagnosis through various diagnostics. Thank you Dr. Podell for believing in this rescue and for all of your support and guidence along the way. Dr. Christine Jurek, DVM,CCRT, you and the staff at Tops Veterinary Rehab in Grayslake are a true gifts to this rescue and the animals that we care for. Thank you for accepting the challenge as we move into the rehab phase of Lily's journey. A very special thank you to the Roussels, Lily's foster family. They have stepped up in a way that no one could even imagine. They are truly selfless and unconditional and if anybody can get Lily up and walking again, it will be them. Both Lily and this rescue are so very fortunate to have you on our team.

We want to thank Donna at Wal-Mart in Gurnee, Roxanne and Megan at Pets Supplies Plus in Mundelein, Deb and Sue at Pets General Store in Libertyville, Marla at K-9 Playtime in Mundelein and Dr. Brown and her staff at Green Tree Animal Hospital In Libertyville for all of their on going support with our Kids For Kritter's " Old Mother Hubbard Project". If the start of 2009 is any indicator of the year that this rescue is going to have, then we are truly blessed. We received a fax today from Green Tree Animal Hospital in Libertyville, notifying us that a very generous donation was made into our medical account there to provide for the ongoing care of our animals. Thank you, Hilary R. from Vernon Hills, Il. for thinking of us and for starting out our 2009 New Year with a bang. The medical care of our animals is the single most important thing to this rescue and your generosity will do so much for so many. Thank you!

Thank you for the continued support of those local businesses that are selling candy bars for us to raise much needed monies for our medical account. The supersized candy bars can be purchased for $3.00 each at the following locations and 100% of your donation is directly deposited into our medical account at Green Tree Animal Hospital in Libertyville.
